I HAVE received a speeding ticket for the West Quay Road out of Southampton towards Totton and would be grateful to hear of anyone else who has.
It was on November 11 by a police van parked up on the pavement.
I was doing 37mph!
I am well aware that there are signs before the speed camera for 30mph but there are no more signs after that until you get on the main road, which is 50mph.
On the incoming side of the road they have now put additional speed signs up making it 30mph all the way along. I don’t think that the outgoing road has adequate signs.
Are there others who feel as disgruntled as me?
