THERE is a rise in support of an English Parliament.
I am writing this letter with the news that Frank Field MP has tabled Early Day Motion 2426 “That this House should establish a select committee to report on the case for and against establishing an English Parliament”.
If like me you believe that attention on the democratic deficit that is England’s plight is long overdue then please take advantage of this opportunity and write to your MPs to request that they sign to support this Early Day Motion.
There is also an e-petition submitted by Andrew Constantine that you can sign if you agree that there should be a parliament for England: epetitions.direct.gov.uk You can also register your support for an English Parliament at thecep.org.uk.
Now is the time to act.
