IF you are disabled and have received excellent care from your local doctor’s surgery, Leonard Cheshire Disability wants to hear from you.
For the seventh year running, we have teamed up with the Royal College of General Practitioners for the Excellence in Disability Care award, which rewards practices that have gone out of their way to make sure their disabled patients receive high quality care.
Our judges are particularly interested in surgeries that go the extra mile, fulfilling not just their legal obligations to make their service accessible to disabled people, but being genuinely inclusive as well.
Nominations are open until Friday, January 6. Download a form at lcdisability.org/rcgp or we can post one to your home – just call 020 3188 7400 and choose extension 7534 or 7537. Alternative formats are also available.
