THE organisers of the Woolston Festival again gave Macmillan Cancer Support the privilege of mingling with the crowds to collect donations. The festive atmosphere and the many attractions made them very generous and the amount raised was £77.21.
This included donations in a draw at the Macmillan stall for a signed Saints banner and scarf. The winning ticket (GREEN 381) was drawn by John Denham after he performed the ceremony of switching on the lights. The lucky winner was John Fox, who collected his prize from the Macmillan organiser.
Once again we must thank the organisers of the Woolston Festival for their kindness and the generosity of the many people who were there enjoying the delights provided by those who took part in the festival.
